Our Purpose

The 509 Show Circuit is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization offering educational and leadership opportunities for youth involved in agriculture. The 509 intends to be a unique resource for livestock shows, local breeders, businesses, and youth in the Pacific Northwest.

Going Beyond the Ring.

509 Show Circuit highlights those who put forth extra effort beyond the show ring. Success in the show ring is an important element the 509 showcases and encourages. However, skills learned inside the ring and the barn: respect, hard work, tenacity, and others, are critical skills to be utilized throughout life. The 509 partners with generous sponsors to provide sought-after awards, scholarships, and educational opportunities on an annual basis. We are all about our members, because the young, agricultural enthusiasts are the future of our industry.

Investing in the Next Generation.

The 509 awards more than $2,500 in scholarships each year, thanks to our generous sponsors.

All members have the opportunity to take part in end-of year contests, which include a highly competitive showmanship program.

We have more than 300 annual dues-paying members from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana.

Partners.

The 509 Show Circuit is sustainable all because of our incredible partners, year after year. We can only do what we do because of our committed sponsors who believe in the next generation of agricultural leaders.

Make a donation.

Businesses, breeders, and individuals are the ones who make our program possible! It’s all about the kids and every dollar goes directly back to them in one way or another.

The 509 is a 501(c)3 non-profit and all donations are tax deductible. Contact us with any questions.
